Synopsis:
In the video "accelerator" a ball with a diameter of 3 cm is captured during its endless flight. By force of gravity - a strength that accelerates falling bodies exponentially - the neon-coloured „flying rubber“ passes the constantly altering backgrounds without pause. The resulting film is an artistic experiment which will remain in process. In the future it will be complemented and extended with new sequences. The most recent version of accelerator was filmed in the cities Hamburg, Berlin and Lisbon. The film's central theme is acceleration in times of digital and technical acceleration and the capitalistic wish for limitless growth.
