Franzis Kabisch
Vita:
Franzis Kabisch is an artistic researcher, filmmaker, author, who moves between Berlin and Vienna, institutions and activism, pleasure, and crisis. Influenced by various contexts such as bodywork, queer film groups, and the pro-choice movement, the focus of her projects lies on body norms, desire, and reproductive justice. For several years, she has been conducting scientific and artistic research on abortion in films and series, and she is working on a feature-length documentary film on this topic using found footage from the 1990s to the present day. In addition to her artistic work, she teaches at universities, conducts workshops, and writes for Missy Magazine.
